This year I had no time to prep for this family trip to Portugal other than making airline reservations. I spent nearly two weeks visiting my son, who is studying abroad in Australia. We traveled together along the southern coast of Australia and through Tasmania. Thanks to Ann, everything was seamless. We had reservations wherever we went, and optional activities ready to go. The pace was perfect—we never felt rushed, yet we saw so much.

One of our favorite days was hiking in Freycinet, Tasmania. I’ll never forget turning a corner and coming face-to-face with a wallaby! In May, we attended my niece's wedding in Tampa. After booking two rooms directly through Bonvoy in February, I reached out to Ann in April about possible upgrades. The best part? All the wonderful perks we received came at no additional cost to me!

Upon arrival, we were welcomed with handwritten notes and a box of locally sourced macaroons in each room. We also received daily free breakfast vouchers for the lovely hotel restaurant and additional daily hotel vouchers, which I used at the coffee bar for much-needed espressos (our trip was a quick 36 hours, if it was longer I would have applied the vouchers at the hotel spa!) These details and perks really did elevate our stay!

It was an amazing trip! Our very first European vacation with our young kiddos and Ann helped ensure it was incredibly special, yet practical for traveling across the world with little ones.
