Wake up and go for a walk before the city or region gets too busy, lunch al fresco with a nice salad, french fries and glass of wine, afternoon visit a museum or site seeing, evening visit to a market followed by a cooking class or food tour and end the day with a night cap on a rooftop bar with a view.

FOMO Travel mindset - cramming too many activities into an itinerary with as many bucket-list attractions as you can for Intagrammable moments at overcrowded sites and at the expense of actually enjoying the experience and connecting with places and cultures and food of the place you are in.

Pack light!  Traveling with less allows for greater mobility, less stress (lost bags), and more opportunity to be spontaneous.

The travel trend I am most excited about right now is the rapid evolution and integration of AI-powered tools in travel planning and booking. As a travel advisor who actively uses AI and develops travel apps, I appreciate how these technologies bring hyper-personalization, efficiency, and smart recommendation systems to the travel experience.
